Answer: We reason we desex our pet kittens is so that you the new owner gets to keep the beautiful bundle of fluff and love that you bought. Entire cats are very different from desexed cats. Entire – undesexed- girls do a very loud ‘call’ when they are looking for a male. Entire cats -both male and female – can ‘mark’ their territory by either weeing or pooing outside of the litter tray. They often fight with other cats as their hormones are running high an they are looking for an outlet. All of those and more issues are not something you want in your home.
Question: Can I visit my kitten?
Answer: We run a closed cattery. The reason for this is that we often have litters of varying ages and some unvaccinated and are susceptible to illnesses. Another reason is that some mothers are very protective of their babies and having people they dont know visiting makes them unsettled. This can lead to mums trying to get their kittens safe. This can include mums trying to move their babies or mum causing injury to their babies.
Question: Do all Ragdolls ‘flop’?
Answer: Generally Ragdolls are a very easy going breed. This is where the ‘flop’ comes in. Not all Ragdolls do the flop as each Ragdoll has their own personality. I do find that Ragdolls love their people and I have had many people come to tell me that their Ragdoll plays fetch and walk on a lead to go outside. I am sure you will love your baby just how they are.
